Your League is Rigged
Fuck you! Fuck you! Your league is rigged.
These are the infinite words of wisdom that Mark Cuban, the billionaire cry baby owner of the Dallas Mavericks, offered NBA Commissioner David Stern after Game 5 of the NBA Finals, Sunday night in Miami.
Rigged? Did you say rigged? I wasn't aware that the NBA possesses super powers. Lets see...
Did the league force Nowitzki to miss that all so important free throw in Game 3? No.
Did the league force the Heat to rout the Mavericks in Game 4? No.
Did the leagus force the Mavericks to miss critical shots and free throws in Game 5? No.
Did the league force Howard to call time out during a very untimely moment in Game 5? No.
Did the league force Wade, Shaq and the Miami Heat to perform at its absolute best during crunch time while the Mavericks collapsed.
Did the league force... fill in the blank yourselves. No, no, no.
So Cuban, you can whine, cry, bitch and moan all you want. Just maybe, MAYBE, don't you think that the Miami Heat might actually be a better team? Oh no, of course not, that wouldn't make a good fucking excuse.

One More Win...

101-100, Miami Heat beats Dallas Mavericks in OT. You couldn't have asked for a better game in the NBA Finals. The inexperience of Dallas is really showing as when the moments count, they missed clutch shots and called that now infamous untimely time out. All the while, Wade is making his best Jordan impersonation to date.
Game 6 is tomorrow at Dallas. Miami will play for its first NBA Championship.
One more win on the road. GO HEAT!!!

The only Cuban NOT Welcome in Miami is...

Mark Cuban and his childish cry baby antics. Tonight, during Game 5, his antics went into overdrive as he seemingly blamed everyone else, except his own team, for their loss in OT.

Its a Series!

The Miami Heat creams the Dallas Mavericks 98-74 in Game 4 to even up the Series at two games a piece. Pivotal Game 5 will be on Sunday and is a must win for the Heat.

Mavericks Meltdown

Nine seconds left in the fourth quarter. Tied at 95, Mavericks versus Heat in the NBA Finals. Heat are on a run, Mavericks in the midst of a mental meltdown. Gary Payton delivers a clutch jump shot to put Miami over the top at 97 for good. Series is now 2-1, Dallas.
There is still hope for the Heat. I believe and all of Miami believes.

GO HEAT

1988. I was 14 and remember the news announcement that the NBA has selected Miami, FL for one of its expansion teams. The Miami HEAT was born. 18 years later, here we are. The NBA Finals. This is what basketball is all about.
The Dallas Mavericks are a great team. I have much respect for Mark Cuban and what he has done. He is an unique and active owner and in my opinion, what the NBA needs more of. I'm not going to trash shit the Mavs and tell you how much they suck. If they sucked, they wouldn't be here. The Mavs have great players in Nowitzki, Terry and Stackhouse, good depth and Coach of the Year in Avery Johnson.
However this IS the HEAT's time. Shaq ia not getting any younger. This might be Zo's last chance, along with Payton. Wade is still young and has plenty of time but will he have the supporting cast next season or in future seaons? Maybe, maybe not. The NBA Finals don't come around often. I always thought that Dan Marino had time but he retired leading most of the NFL's passing records but with no ring. Shaq has more playoff and NBA Finals experience than all of the Mavs combined. Riley is arguably one of the greatest coaches in recent memory, next to Phil Jackson. This is our time.
Heat will win in 6. We may fall tonight (the HEAT seems to always lose Game 1), but we will come back to Miami with the Series split at one each, with the next three games at home at the AAA.
This will be war and this is the HEAT's time. GO HEAT!
