Tom Cruise as Les Grossman in Tropic Thunder
Tom Cruise, who played Maverick in Top Gun to Ethan Hunt in three Mission Impossible movies, and in real life is a couch-jumping Scientologist, can add foul-mouthed, dirty, bald, hairy Hollywood mogul dancing fatass as a throwback to the 1980's to his resume. The result is absolutely hilarious.
Here is the scene from Tropic Thunder in case you've been living under a rock or one of those easily offended aka hyper-sensitive fanatics who has a problem with white people painting themselves black or cringe at the mere thought of a movie making fun of retards. Never go full retard.

As much of a breakthrough for Cruise as his roles in Risky Business and Magnolia,Cruise's Les Grossman makes Tropic Thunder a completely sardonic parody of the excesses and vanity of money and fame. Cruise has never been better on screen. It once again proves the counterintuitive paradigm in movies: doing the unexpected often pays off. Like Robin Williams going for drama in Good Will Hunting, The Fisher King and Insomnia, so Cruise hits an undiscovered note by channeling his overly earnest dramatic intensity into over the top comic parody as Les Grossman. I cannot imagine TT without him. It begs a Les Grossman spin off movie, PLEASE!
