David Coulthard calls it a career

Formula One's elder statesman, David Coulthard, has announced his retirement from F1 racing today, following the current season. In a career that begun in 1994, replacing Ayrton Senna's seat, following his tragic death, DC won 13 Grand Prix, scored 12 pole positions, set 18 fastest laps, was on the podium 62 times and amassed 533 championship points. And he is still very competitive in the Red Bull car, scoring his most recent podium and 3rd place finish in Canada two weeks ago. Nice to see him go out on top and not linger on.
