Grand Prix of Bahrain results
Jenson Button - 4th
Rubens Barrichello - 15th
Despite qualifying 3rd, Button lost a few places right off the start. He drove a good race but not good enough to get on the podium. Barrichello had gearbox problems and finished the race in 15th.

Alonso and Renault came out on top. Schumacher and Ferrari are back this season, looking very competitive and strong. BMW looked decent in their first outing. Toyota was the definition of disappointment. They spend the most money in F1 but they still suck. And Honda's second team - Super Aguri - well what a joke. Sato at least finished the race, Ide was penalized and almost ran over his pitcrew during a stop.
The story of the day is Kimi Raikkonen. Starting from dead last, he moved his way up the grid and finished 3rd. If McLaren Mercedes can give him a reliable car, Raikkonen can win races.
Finally I very much like the new gualifying format. Very exciting stuff.
