God Speed Paul Dana

Yesterday IRL driver Paul Dana lost his life doing what he loved most - behind the wheel of his Honda IRL race car going close to 200MPH at Homestead-Miami Speedway. This is such a tradegy and a harsh reminder of the inherent extreme risks of motorsports. The drivers, pit crew and team race endanger their lives to put on a good show for the rest of us and race in the spirit of competition. I was just there Saturday afternoon to watch IRL qualifying and Rolex Series and partake in the parade lap and saw Dana's race car.

RIP Paul Dana and God Speed. Paul Dana now joins the likes of Greg Moore, Gilles Villeneuve and the great Ayrton Senna, who all died while doing what they loved most.
