Islam says it's all right to demonstrate but not to resort to violence. This must stop. We condemn the cartoons but this does not justify violence. These rioters are defaming the name of Islam.

Finally someone in authority has some sanity and common sense. Now if he can only get the Imans to do the same, this cartoon row turned almost WW3 can end.

Meanwhile in Afghanistan, protesters attempt to storm a US military base in Qalat resulting in four deaths. I wondered if the four protesters who died are now disappointed that they are not met with 40 virgins in heaven? So much for common sense. If I was a protester, the last place that I would want to try to storm is a fortified US military base.

In Kabal, college students, aka terrorists in training, were shouting "Death to Danish! Death to Americans!" Pathetic.

Back home, President Bush is calling all nations to help end the insanity, saying...

I call upon the governments around the world to stop the violence, to be respectful, to protect property and protect the lives of innocent diplomats who are serving their countries overseas.
