Toyota F1 TF106 Launch

The Toyota F1 TF106 has been launched at a Toyota manufacturing factory in Valenciennes, France. The factory builds Toyota's Yaris car and was chosen to underscore the close relationship between Toyota's F1 and consumer automobile production teams, although I personally see absolutely nothing in common with the TF106 race car and the Yaris, except the fact that it shares four wheels and a steering wheel. Nothing could be more remotely different, seeing as the Yaris is a economy, fuel efficient, bottom tier vehicle and the TF106 is a Formula 1 racing machine. It would be been more believable if Toyota decided to showcase their new Lexus GS or IS or maybe offer a glimpse of the much rumored next generation Toyota Supra. Nevertheless, the TF106 has already undergone substantial early testing and is looking good.
