Amuse S2000 GT1

When Power House Amuse gets involved in something, it does it with perfection in mind. Their exhaust systems are simply perfect, from the material used to the welds itself. Amuse became one of the top S2000 tuners with their Street Version S2000, which I have modeled my own S2000 after. Amuse made the headlines again with their Amuse S2000 Touge Monster. Now in 2005, Amuse has given itself a goal, to be the world's fastest time attack S2000. Its weapon of choice comes in the form of a stunning race machine clothed in carbon and titanium born in state of the art engineering - Amuse S2000 GT1.
Amuse coupled the amazing F20C engine with an HKS GT3240 Turbo and JUN internals, raising the overall engine capacity to 2259cc while decreasing the compensation ratio to 8.8:1. Power output will be somewhere around 550PS and to put the power on the ground, a BNR34 GTR rear end replaces the stock S2000 rear end.

GT1 Widebody Kit designed by Gran Turismo 4 Producers
The widebody kit is available to purchase for Amuse clients. The downside is that Amuse forces you to ship them your S2000 all the way to Japan to build the GT1 exhaust system on the car. The turbo kit/engine itself is in the final phases of production.
I cannot wait to see this car at Tsukuba later this year.

This machine represents an enormous victory for the S2000 platform. Kudos to Amuse for pushing the edge even further.

i would spew all over this car if i saw it in person
lol
I would be helping the owner kick your ass !!!!!
i love the S200 first of all.
the fact that this one exist makes me wish i could just go for at least one ride in it.Wish i could own it though that would be a dream come true.
if it is anything like the one on GT4 it is an animal
I did see this car in person! Its awesome, It was present at the 2006 Tokyo Autosalon!
this car is amazing, its the definition of aerodynamic perfection for the S2000. its a great piece of work.
that is one sexy ass car. i wish i could afford one :(
I'm actually loving this car so much i'm making a pixel car version. I'm also using a S2000 in Forza to drift.
Although I love what Powerhouse Amuse has done with the S2000 I am a bit more reserved about this project, as I think forced induction applications ruin the philosophy of a pure Honda.
Its way better than any VW
The only thing I dont get is why they put so much into aerodynamics but left the most draining and most unaerodynamic part of the car on there. the top. I own one and especially at high speeds you can tell it effects the car. why cant they get a badass carbon fiber top?
Well its not completely a Honda it has skyline rear end...still a sick car though wonder how much more they can get out of the engine.
hey does anyone know how to get those body kit if yes can you guy send me the link or their link to my email thankyou very much im really ned its cause i want to upgrade my car my email is "thit.cho2007@yahoo.com"
this car rocks!! fuck muscle cars!
what the hell are you talking about a skyline rear end? thats not even the same brand and there is clearly no form of conversion. the rear bumper was obviously mixed up a bit to sport the sheltered exhaust, but those are 100% s2000 tail lights. about the kit, good news is, you can get one from powerhouse amuse. bad news is it will cost you around $6,000 for the kit alone since it has to be special ordered from japan. on top of that installation will be an expensive, painful process and u will have to pay for wheel spacers too if u dont want it to look like shit. oh, and you're gonna need an exhaust that fits like that one or you will have to start cutting up the rear diffuser. the wing isn't included by the way. neither is the hood.
No, no, no. Dude, by 'rear end' he means it has a BNR34 GT-R differential. He's not referring to the bodywork. A stock S2000 diff is unlikely to be able to cope with 550bhp, hence using one from a Skyline.
i actually own an s2000, may I ask IF anyone knows how to get their hands on tthis kit or at the least, a very good replica of it...please email me at jessejames1871@yahoo.com. thank you very much for any helps...arrigato
This kits costs 480,000 yen which is about £2000/$4000 (quite cheap!) but you will have to pay extra for install and paint job.
if you read the article, you'll notice that he said you have to ship the whole car to japan (which will cost about 6g round trip from the states). there, they'll install the kit and build the custom GT1 exhaust for the body. of course, wheels and paint will be extra (but you might as well get it done in japan). so make sure you have your 30g+ ready if you want to get this kit. i wish it weren't so expensive. but then again, it wouldn't be so special...
incidentally, for the above person who dislikes the stock soft-top, Amuse does build a special CF top to match the GT1 (i think), but it will probably cost another arm and a leg on top of the insanely expensive body
Wow speculation and misinformation abounds..... :)
You do not have to ship the entire car to Japan to get the widebody kit (you only have to do so if you want to have that partcular exhaust since it is custom-fabbed to fit). You can very easily have another shop stateside fab up an exhaust (it won't be as hot as an Amuse, but you'll save a prohibitively huge chunk of change).
The kit itself retails for a bit under $6000 in the US and there are 3 or 4 of them rolling around the states that I know of (do a search and you'll find quite a few vendors that can get it for you)
I own an Amuse exhaust myself (a Titan R1 Extra dual on my AP1 S2000) and can speak first hand to the quality and workmanship that goes into Amuse's products.
The quality is quite simply breathtaking. The parts are expensive to be sure, but worth every penny. You've got to pay to play :)
yep this car is Bad Ass
and who in the hell said better than any VW who care about VW dumbass they seuk this car would spank anything u put aginst it
the car looks really nice when it's all white. i don't really like those pictures from the japanese magazine with that black hood.
